JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including experience in industrial settings and renovation projects. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical systems and tools. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
• Ability to perform renovation tasks related to electrical installations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including wiring, installation of fixtures, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical installations align with project specifications.
• Provide maintenance person services as required for minor repairs or renovations related to electrical work.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all duties.
