QUALIFICATIONS :

Must Have

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) - formal apprenticeship
  • 1 year Industrial Millwright Experience
  • Fluent verbal and written English language ability

Preferred

  • Industrial First Aid Certification
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification
  • Working at Heights Certification
  • Confined Space Certification
  • Welding and Fabrication Experience (CWB or Provicial Welder)

Responsibilities
  • Work with the experienced Maintenance 3 in the maintenance department, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial pipe production equipment, including conveyors, pumps, compressors, and motors.
  • Learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using technical manuals,schematics, and blueprints.
  • Use hand and power tools to dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery.
  • Learn how to fabricate and install new parts and equipment as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Learn how to align, level, and calibrate machinery to meet industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Attend training sessions and classes as required to continue learning and improving skills.
  • Maintain and oversight of projects that require external sub-trade participation
