• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
• Select appropriate welding equipment and materials
• Prepare surfaces for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and fitting
• Perform welding operations using different techniques, such as SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW
• Operate welding equipment safely and effectively, following safety procedures and using appropriate PPE to prevent incidents and injuries
• Collaborate with other team members, such as designers, fabricators, etc. to complete projects efficiently
• Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot welding issues, collaborating with other team members
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Continuously improve welding skills and knowledge, staying updated on industry developments and best practices
