R&D FABRICATOR / RED SEAL WELDER - LA SALLE, MB

Founded in 2001, our company started in rural La Salle, Manitoba and now, over 20 years later, we have exponentially grown into Canada’s only national provider of the barbecue propane tank exchange program. We thrive on idea sharing, continuous improvements, and collaboration.

We are looking for a talented Red Seal Welder to join our Research & Development team in La Salle, Manitoba. The successful candidate will enjoy hands-on experimentation and mentorship while working in a dynamic environment. In this role, you’ll partner with our Research & Development department to design and build propane industry–specific machinery and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Red Seal Welder certification
  • Able to mentor apprentices
  • Additional CWB Tickets are considered a strong asset but not required
  • Adaptable with a strong attention to detail

    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
  • Welding & fabrication - bring custom machinery designs to life using your welding expertise
  • Assemble and test new tank processing equipment and production solutions across our facilities
  • Bend, notch, punch, and straighten sheet metal, primarily aluminum and steel, using both manual and powered tools
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, offering suggestions for improvements and design enhancements

    - Contribute to the design and development process with practical feedback and innovative thinking.
