Job Summary: To assist in preparing the designs and engineering drawings of jobs by incorporating the contract specifications, client requirements and government regulations without compromising the constructability of these designs. To coordinate with Sr. Architect to ensure the use of creative solutions in the design of jobs that reduce manpower requirements, cost, and time. Key Responsibilities: Operational Assists in performing architectural design and analysis for Design/ Build contracts, coordinates the activities of the consultant, client and Amana in order to develop the compliant design as per the client's requirements in coordination with the Draughtsman for drawing preparations, and cooperates with the consultant to obtain the approval of the authorities. Assists the Sr. Architect in interfacing with clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure the quick approval of drawings compliant with the job requirements and contract. Assists in checking and approving the compatibility of the Architectural, Civil, MEP, and Steel cladding drawings and designs (both in-house and third-party) in coordination with the relevant parties. Assists in the review of any design/drawings proposed by subcontractors. Follows-up on the preparation of the drawing submittal log in line with the overall project schedule in coordination with the Planning function and Sr. Architect. Coordinates with the Project Manager to provide as-built drawings for jobs on a timely basis and as per the requirements of the Construction department. Performs site visits as needed to compare designs with actual site practices, as well to improve knowledge of practical building practices as requested by the Engineering Manager. Assists the Cost Control function as needed in variation orders and reports the same to the Sr.Architect. Assists in providing references to a library of standard constructible details with the least cost implications. Assists the Sr. Architect in the completion of the Engineering section Architectural Works of the End of Job Report. People Management Assists in the training and development of personnel in the Engineering function. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (mandatory). Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction and general contracting. Technical Skills: Strong experience in Revit, Auto CAD / 3D, and Lumion Software. Nationality: Saudi National (mandatory). Strong communication and reporting skills in English. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach. What makes a true AMANAian?
