REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, MIS or Communications or related field with a GPA of 3.7 or higher.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical teams and senior business leaders as well as the ability to conduct presentations.
  • Ability to interact cross-functionally with various levels management and peers
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with solid problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with clients and team members in both virtual and in-person settings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Internship or professional experience in business analysis or a consulting environment, especially within telecom or related industries.
  • Exposure to enterprise systems or telecom-related solutions (CRM, billing, provisioning, etc.).
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or comfort working with data sets and performing simple queries.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Strong interest in the telecommunications, cable, or media sectors.
Responsibilities

You may work on various projects throughout your career with Excelacom. The roles and responsibilities noted below pertain to the specific role listed above.

  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and other documentation.
  • Gather and document business and functional requirements from both internal stakeholders and client-facing teams.
  • Work closely with senior consultants and technical leads to understand client needs and project objectives.
  • Support analysis of business processes, data flows, and system interactions to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Facilitate and participate in client meetings, taking clear notes and following up on action items.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
  • Assist in testing activities, including writing test cases, executing test plans, and tracking issues.
  • Track and manage requirements, issues, and project documentation across multiple workstreams.
  • Support the preparation of training materials, user guides, and operational documentation as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness when interacting with clients at all levels, including senior executives.
  • In addition to delivering at the client site, you will occasionally be tasked in productizing Excelacom’s work, contributing to our Center of Excellence and intermittently working on Excelacom proposals to the client.
