OVERVIEW

As a Junior Business Development Specialist for Producers National Corporation, you will be the voice and face of the company with our network of independent insurance agents. You will meet with agents in your assigned territory to provide training on our products and systems, troubleshoot and resolve issues presented by our agency partners, and influence increased sales of products and services offered by the Producers National Corporation family of companies. You will customize your meetings with our agency partners focusing on their business model and needs to identify opportunities for growth for both the agent and our family of companies. You will work with senior marketing staff learning how to identify agency partners’ goals and how our products can complement the agent’s suite of companies and products.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Required - Must live in New Mexico
  • Requires a valid drivers license and auto insurance
  • Must have high school diploma/GED equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications is preferred.
  • Outside business-to-business sales experience preferred.
  • Insurance industry experience.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • An ability to analyze data and dive results
  • Must be organized and can manage work and weekly schedule independently and efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
  • CRM system experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player able to communicate and work effectively with internal business units and external agency partners.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage potential agents to expand our network
  • Drive profitable growth within your territory meeting defined KPI’s.
  • Meet and work with agents providing training on products and systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and industry professionals
  • Local and/or overnight travel 60 – 75% each week visiting agencies.
  • Analyze agency performance metrics and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team members to identify trends and marketing opportunities.
  • Problem solve issues presented by our agency partners with internal team members.
  • Maintain CRM data
  • Communicate marketing intelligence to senior marketing management.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
