SUMMARY:

The Jr Buyer/Planner is responsible for purchasing and planning processes that align supply and demand while meeting inventory KPI targets.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent field
  • 1 year of Administrative, Purchasing or Sales support experience
  • ERP experience – preferably SAP
  • Electronic parts purchasing or equivalent commodities
  • MS Office including Intermediate to Advanced Excel

Responsibilities
  • Manage supply to balance supply and demand for spare parts and packaging materials
  • Manage inventory levels to achieve targets
  • Purchasing functions – order placement, expediting, order rescheduling, price negotiations, invoice reconciliation, etc.
  • Sales order entry functions – edit, change, and reschedule sales orders and order change communications to Sales
  • Manage logistics to ensure timely delivery
  • Tracking open purchase orders and maintain stock in transit reporting
  • Collaborating with internal teams
  • Coordinate with Group Supply Chain to execute sourcing programs
  • Run routine and special reports
  • Establish reorder points
  • Perform other duties as specified
