Description

The Jr. controls project engineer is an entry-level position to learn and focus on all phases of project development and management. In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced Project Engineers, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects from project concept to commissioning.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist senior Project Engineers in various stages of project execution.
  • Participate in project meetings and design reviews, contributing to the development of innovative control solutions.
  • Review and interpret technical specifications, ensuring designs meet all requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering groups, including mechanical, electrical, and robotic teams.
  • Help organize project documentation, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates to management and key stakeholders.
  • Have basic knowledge of industrial electrical, pneumatic, water systems, and programming.
  • Must be a highly organized person able to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Must have basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must understand and follow safety & environmental regulations and identify safety/environmental concerns.
  • Must adhere to the Quality System and participate in continuous improvement.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
