Job Title:
Jr. Counterparty Risk Analyst
Location:
CA - Westlake Village
What you’ll do:

This role is responsible for annual due diligence recertification review, analysis, and ongoing monitoring of an assigned portfolio of existing non-delegated and delegated correspondent clients. Correspondent clients consist of mortgage companies, banks and credit unions that Sell loans to AmeriHome. The analyst will be responsible for providing financial and business analysis and recommendations to management. Applicants must be interested in research, data entry, writing, and financial analysis.

  • Manage a portfolio of non-delegated and delegated correspondent clients (mortgage banks and financial institutions)
  • Analyze and spread financial statements
  • Identify risks, trends, and concerns and write comprehensive analysis
  • Data entry of client information
  • Follow checklists to ensure all review items are received and completed
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone to obtain documentation
  • Draft and send legal documents and notices to clients
  • Verify accuracy of data between documents and systems
  • Research and collect data from multiple web sources
  • Manage team email inboxes

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required (preferably in related field of accounting, finance, or economics)
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat to view and modify PDF files
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Self-motivation to work independently and assist peers when needed
