This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional to join a data analytics team supporting data governance, quality, and compliance initiatives. You will help ensure that business and analytical data are accurate, traceable, and well-documented. The role provides hands-on exposure to metadata management, data quality monitoring, and privacy regulations in a collaborative and remote-first environment. You will contribute to dashboards, reporting, and the preparation of audits while learning from experienced data professionals. This position is ideal for someone curious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop a solid foundation in data governance and analytics practices. Accountabilities Assist in documenting data governance policies and procedures. Support the execution of data quality controls and compliance reporting. Maintain and update metadata within corporate tools. Aid in the preparation of data audits and follow-up reports. Contribute to the harmonization and validation of data across different domains. Participate in the creation of dashboards and reports focused on data quality. 1–2 years of experience in data-related or governance activities. Fundamental understanding of data quality concepts: completeness, consistency, validity. Familiarity with data catalog or governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Anjana). Introductory knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA). Basic proficiency in relational databases and SQL. Understanding of metadata and data lineage concepts. Experience using Excel and Business Intelligence tools for reporting. Quick learner, adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented. Strong teamwork and communication skills, collaborating effectively with business and technical teams. 100% remote work, full-time schedule. Independent contract with a duration of 12 months and potential renewal based on performance. Monthly compensation: 800–1,000 USD.
