Position: Jr Demand Planner Department: Demand Planning, Supply Reports to: Demand Planning Associate Manager Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid in office 3-days/week) Job summary: The Demand Planner supports the demand planning process by assisting with forecasting, inventory monitoring, and production planning activities. This role partners closely with the Demand Planning Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data, timely reporting, and strong customer service levels. The position is ideal for an early-career professional seeking to build skills in forecasting and supply chain planning. Essential job functions: * Assist in preparing monthly demand forecasts for the assigned Categories using historical sales and order data * Support analysis of historical sales, trends, and promotions to inform forecast inputs * Incorporate inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Product teams into demand plans * Support the process for the forecast on new products with analysis of previous similar products * Participate in process improvement initiatives and training opportunities * Prepare inventory reports including availability, slow movers and closeouts * Assist in creating dashboards and planning reports for management review Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills * High attention to detail and data accuracy * Comfortable working in Excel and spreadsheet-based analysis. * Basic understanding of demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain concepts. * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally. * Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Education & Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, analytics, operations, or related field preferred. * 0–2 years’ experience in supply chain, planning, operations, inventory, or data analysis roles. * Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, operations, or planning environments is a plus. * Exposure to ERP/MRP systems preferred but not required. Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid in office 3-days/week)
