QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD/DraftSight
• Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at the same time
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

THE ROLE:

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist and perform with the detailed design models and drawings of mechanical assemblies and subcomponents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Model and assemble 3D mechanical and hydraulic components
• Convert 2D drawing data into accurate 3D models
• Analyze loading and strength characteristics of designed components
• Produce steel machining and fabrication drawings with machining tolerances and welding symbols
• Produce assembly and installation drawings for large and small components
