Job Description The Junior Engineer is responsible for satisfactory completion of the Junior Engineer program. The program includes on-the-job training in a full-time maintenance position and requires additional after-hours attendance of instructional courses through CSN and other trade specific educational organizations. The program lasts four years, followed by a two-year employment commitment. Qualifications Candidates must exhibit a basic understanding of one or more of the following areas: electrical, HVACR, carpentry, painting, plumbing, upholstery, or tile setting. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must be fluent in English. An ideal candidate will have successfully completed a vocation, technical, or trade related program. This position requires a valid Nevada driver’s license. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position. Must maintain program-mandated GPA and attendance standards of college & trade specific courses. Must have eligibility and availability to attend classes through CSN.
