Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join our Partner FP&A team at Nuvei, a leader in payment processing solutions. This entry-level role will support the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting functions for the business, while providing actionable insights to help guide key decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for finance in the fast-paced and evolving payments industry. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses. Support the development of financial models and analyses to evaluate business performance and trends. Help in the preparation and analysis of key financial reports. Maintain and update financial systems, tools, and reports used for analysis and decision-making. Assist in financial reconciliation and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Marketing, and Product) to gather relevant financial data for reporting and analysis. Contribute to the creation of presentations and reports for senior management & board of directors, providing insights on financial performance and forecasting. Help track KPIs and provide regular updates on financial metrics to internal stakeholders. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field; experience in a payments or financial services industry is a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas). Familiarity with financial reporting systems and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaborate with different teams.
