As a Jr. Franchise Startup Specialist / Jr. Franchise Onboarding Specialist , your role is pivotal in ensuring the success of franchise partners by establishing a personalized approach tailored to their unique needs and aspirations. Recognizing that each franchisee brings their own set of skills, experiences, and challenges to the table, your ability to provide customized support and guidance is essential in garnering buy-in and fostering long-term success. This role is responsible for getting all new Franchise Partners from start up to opening their business. The role can be remote-based anywhere in the U.S., and operates as part of a franchise support team located in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area.
By cultivating strong relationships built on trust and mutual respect, you will empower franchise partners to navigate the complexities of launching a new business venture with confidence and achieve their full potential within the franchise system. This role will provide support to the FSC operations team and field-based staff, while also providing start-up support to Franchise Partners and Designated Managers within the SYNERGY HomeCare network.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in operational support or compliance roles, homecare or healthcare industry experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coach new franchise partners through the onboarding process.

  • Collaborate with franchise partners and vendors to set up necessary accounts and software logins for smooth business operations.

  • Administer required training programs through the company’s learning management system (LMS) and ensure completion of exams and certifications
  • Train franchise partners on essential operational systems and ensure proficiency in platform navigation and usage
  • Collaborate with Franchise Partners to support effective utilization of scheduling, staffing, and care management platforms
  • Determine opening date by understanding state requirements for licensing or opening
  • Work collaboratively with the training specialist on training needs
  • Coach the franchise partners on the importance of hiring and onboarding staff effectively
  • Attend scheduled virtual and in-person meetings, SYNERGY HomeCare University training, and our Annual Franchise Convention.
  • Provide support on a variety of operational responsibilities and contribute to special projects as assigned.
