JR. IT PROJECT MANAGER – FLEX TECHNOLOGY GROUP

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior project managers in planning, executing, and closing multiple IT projects across departments
  • Help develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor progress and update stakeholders regularly
  • Coordinate meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Track and manage project risks, issues, and changes
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with PMO standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for PMO leadership
  • Facilitate the idea and demand management intake process
  • Lead smaller initiatives or projects independently

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management, preferably in IT or Business Operations
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems and software development lifecycle
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership of your work
  • Understanding of business operational processes and alignment with IT project objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification (or working toward one)
  • Experience working in a PMO environment
  • Exposure to enterprise IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, or cloud migrations
