SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent will work along Sr. Maintenance
Technician to assist with facility and equipment maintenance activities across all company
facilities and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience in the manufacturing maintenance setting
• Working towards 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright Journeyman certification is an asset
• Familiar with electrical and electronic controls, lathes/mills and other machining tools, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, HVAC
• Working at heights /Elevated platform certification is an asset
• Willingness and ability to learn required machinery is a must
• Ability to work multi-task, work under pressure, prioritize and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
• Must possess a valid driving license

• Adhere to equipment maintenance schedule as per Preventive Maintenance program
• Assist with routine facility and equipment repairs
• Assist with urgent repairs as necessary
• Assist with heating and cooling systems troubleshooting
• Adhere to safe operating procedures during machinery shutdown and lock out procedures
• Assist in assembling new machinery and equipment prior to installation, and in installing, if required
• Operate forklift, overhead crane, elevated platform, hand tools, read and interpret blueprints
• May require rigging, handling, centering, work at elevation; bearing, etc.
