JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Designer with 3+ years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical drafting and design. The candidate will support our engineering team by producing high-quality construction documents for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a variety of projects, including industrial facilities, municipal buildings, educational institutions, and commercial developments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant design/drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
• Ability to create plans from markups and base files.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

• Convert sketches and markups into detailed AutoCAD/Revit/BIM drawings.
• Read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and to-scale drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and other designers on multidisciplinary projects.
• Maintain documentation and project records.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
