About the Role T9 is seeking a Junior Merchant to support the day-to-day execution of the merchandising strategy for assigned categories that align with company goals and financial targets. You will be responsible for creating, communicating, and managing assortments with a focus on curation, new customer acquisition, and sales and margin growth.  The Junior Merchant is based out of our Emeryville, CA (Doyle) office 4 days a week, Monday-Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays.  Key responsibilities include: * Ownership of small category; assist with larger departments; create seasonal assortment plans and collaborate with Inventory Planning (IP) on weekly recaps, hindsights, and buy plans. * Partner with leadership to curate on-brand assortments; conduct competitive analysis on pricing and trends; prepare and present reviews to Executive Leadership. * Own day-to-day vendor interactions (CAD requests, pricing); collaborate with Inventory Planning on shipping and delivery; influence peers with a strong point of view. * Maintain merchandising tools (Roadmap, NetSuite, NSPB); manage SKU data and e-commerce attributes; facilitate monthly creative handoffs and line reviews. * Coordinate with the Merchandising and Product Development teams to organize samples and build Master CADs and presentation documents. * Execute attribute updates such as Collection, CSS, and Fit/Silo, manage mass uploads to NetSuite for SKU changes, and remain responsible for entering and maintaining all ecommerce attributes. * About you: * You’re an athlete or outdoor enthusiast who enjoys working in a true team environment – one where everyone has their position, playing together for the win. * You could see yourself joining in our weekday workouts – offered every day at noon; * You’re amped up about supporting women. You also have: * A passion for the analysis and numbers that grounds you in your business. * Strong proficiency in Excel with previous experience in formulas, pivot tables, vlookups * Ability to build relationships and negotiate both internally and externally * Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills  * Ability to self-manage, problem solve, and have a Can-Do attitude   * Proven ability and desire to improve processes while being open to feedback and new ideas. * Bachelor's Degree in merchandising, product development, or similar field; or equivalent related work experience.  * 2+ years of experience in retail merchandising, inventory planning, or similar. * Experience in the retail/apparel industry.
