About the role
As (Jr.) Process Engineer you are responsible for the process capability in the field of etching and you will be part of the LITEC section at the production site in Hamburg.

What you will do

  • Ensure technological process capability and process stability of the approved process steps in the area of etching
  • Responsible for the control of the assigned Statistical Process Control (SPC) / Capability & Performance (CPK) values and responsibility for the measures to be derived
  • Independent processing of error messages in the task area (Red Square / Non Conforming Lot, error database)
  • Identification and processing of process-related rejects / quality weaknesses in the area of responsibility
  • Evaluation of the technological process capability and process stability for new process modules
  • Cooperation and release of new process modules (ICR, process module release) Participation in the selection, testing, introduction and release of new/additional systems
  • Participation in creating the necessary instructions (e.g. work instructions, training plans, OCAPs…)
  • Implementation of training measures Participation in the creation of the Process Step FMEA’s

What you will need

  • Completed Masters Degree or PhD in natural sciences
  • Ideally relevant experience in semiconductor technology
  • Analytical thinking scheme
  • Planning and organizational skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and social skills in dealing with many interfaces creativity and assertiveness
  • Fluency in Germany and good command of English, spoken and written
