Role Overview We are seeking a creative and user-focused Junior Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in crafting exceptional user experiences across our mobile and web platforms. You will be responsible for user research, designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with our brand identity and business goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about user experience, has a keen eye for aesthetics, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist in designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for mobile and web. Support the development and maintenance of the Blys Design Language to ensure consistency across products. Conduct user research and usability testing with guidance from senior designers. Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, teammates, and stakeholders. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other teams to bring ideas to life. Stay up-to-date with design tools, trends, and best practices. Contribute to team discussions, openly sharing ideas and feedback. 1–2 years of experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role (internship and freelance experience welcome). Hands-on experience with Figma, prototyping, and an openness to support marketing assets. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus. A portfolio showcasing strong visual design skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of user-centered design principles. Basic understanding of design fundamentals and accessibility standards. Some experience or interest in AI-assisted design, including effective prompting to generate ideas and assets. Curious and willing to learn, open to feedback and eager to grow in a collaborative environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced startup setting. Bonus: some familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic web layouts and an interest in motion design to enhance interactive experiences.
