JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Jr Project Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role involves project accounting responsibilities including liaising with the design team, managing project budgets, performing performance analysis, overseeing client billing, tracking labor and expenses, and managing consultant fees.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in project accounting, particularly within the architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
• Experience with Deltek Vision accounting software is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of billing, budgeting, labor, and expense tracking.
• Experience with construction budgets exceeding $20M.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in managing multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and self-directed while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Liaise with the design team to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
• Manage project budgets and perform detailed performance analysis.
• Oversee client billing and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Track labor and expenses to maintain optimal project financial performance.
• Manage consultant fees and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
