WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for someone with a Project Management background and 3-5 years’ experience in supporting project execution and delivering PMO tasks in the insurance industry, and with experience in the field of Finance. You have a proactive attitude, you are a self-starter and you have analytical and problem solving skills.

Next to the above you:

  • Are convincing, a critical thinker and able to flex communication with the audience in mind
  • Have a high learning agility, meaning you can easily adapt and absorb new information in a changing environment
  • Have a Prince2, Agile certification or the ambition to get these
  • Are a strong communicator, fluent in both Dutch and English
  • Have a relevant University Degree; preferably a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business & IT or similar
Responsibilities

As Jr. Project Manager you will directly support and work together with our Project- and Program Managers in multi-disciplinary change initiatives in areas such as Finance Transformations, Operational Excellence, Mergers & Acquisitions and Core platform redesign. You will take the lead in ensuring effective and efficient change execution and will act as the trusted go-to person in terms of project management support and central project oversight
You will take responsibility to support the end-to-end delivery of our change initiatives, from initiation (through quick scans/ assessments on core finance processes), to project delivery (milestone planning; status reporting; monitoring of key risks, issues and dependencies; insight in project financials and business cases), besides picking up your own (sub-)projects.

Other responsibilities are:

  • Support delivery of larger programs and own (smaller scale) projects or workstreams across Group Finance withing scope and time
  • Manage expectations of senior team members and stakeholders (through proactive communication)
  • Produce management information including scenario analysis, impact analysis and documents that are ‘for decision’ and organize impactful Steering Committees
  • Proactively contribute solutions, deliver insights for challenges and support driving decision making
