Job Description General Description: The JR Project Manager is responsible for managing financial and cross-functional projects that support strategic business objectives. This role manages project planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, process improvements, and system implementations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. - Starting compensation is based on experience. - No H1 Sponsorship. - Must Already be in Chicago, IL or willing to relocate at own cost Primary Responsibilities/Tasks: Manage end-to-end finance projects, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting enhancements, and cost optimization initiatives. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies. Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, IT, and business stakeholders to align project goals with organizational strategy. Monitor project performance, track KPIs, and provide regular status updates to senior leadership. Qualifications Work Experience Requirements: 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial project management. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting processes. Experience with ERP and financial systems implementations. PMP certification or similar project management credential preferred. Manage financial and cross-functional projects that support strategic business objectives. This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, and qualifications.
