A Jr. Property Accountant is needed to accommodate the rapid growth and oncoming new business.
This is a great opportunity for someone to demonstrate and build on their accounting skills in a Company that offers a wide range or growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Full cycle financial statement preparation for a portfolio of buildings
- Preparation of supporting working papers
- Work collaboratively with Property Managers, Council Members and a very strong accounting team
- Year end budget and audit preparation
- GST remittances
- Liaison with auditors and bankers
Requirements:
- 1 year in an accounting position with G/L experience
- Accounting degree, designation or diploma
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and multi-task in a large volume, fast-paced environment
- Has a ‘do what it takes’ attitude to meet tight deadlines and be a contributing member in team environment
- Has proven efficiency in Excel, Word and accounting software.
