Job Requirements- What do you need?

  • Proven working experience, minimum 2 years, in (inside) sales
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Commercially driven with a customer focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ambition to grow into a Territory Manager position
  • Willing to travel more as you progress in your career
  • Language skill: English, and preferably Germa
Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer supports the Territory Manager during the sales process by answering customer questions, registering customers and project data in the CRM system, writing quotations and providing information such as drawings, manuals, process information, etc.
You are also the first point of contact for our sales partners and house accounts. When an order is placed, you record all agreements made in the order confirmation and you ensure that the first deposit is received. In order to bring all this work to a successful conclusion, you also work closely with project leaders, purchasers and engineers.

These are some key responsibilities:

  • Providing customers with technical and commercial information during the sales process, such as drawings, manuals, datasheets, process flow descriptions, OPEX/CAPEX etc.
  • Supporting house accounts with questions, quotations, orders related to machine sales.
  • Capture customer and project data in Salesforce
  • Writing quotes
  • Writing order confirmations
  • Sending first deposit invoices
  • Clarify the open points in machine order and project contracts.
  • Receiving the first deposit on machine orders and projects.
  • Transfer machine orders and projects to the project leaders.
