McKesson Pharmacy Systems (MPS) is seeking a high performer to join our growing EnterpriseRx QA Automation team. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

If you have a passion for test automation and ensuring the quality of large-scale software applications, we are interested in you. In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative and highly skilled QA automation team supporting the EnterpriseRx application, to accelerate our speed to market while continuing to ensure quality. EnterpriseRx® is a world-class software solution that drives all activity within a pharmacy.

EDUCATION

  • 4 year degree or related field or equivalent experience

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Coding experience in JavaScript or other scripting languages
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL queries

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Experience in software test automation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work and contribute in an agile development environment

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a QA Automation Engineer on the EnterpriseRx QA Automation team. Main responsibilities include:
  • Execution of the current suite of automated tests against various major and minor releases
  • Investigation into the cause of any failures
  • Logging defects and retesting after fixes are in place
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate automation execution needs and timelines for patch releases
  • Development of new automated tests, including necessary framework, for EnterpriseRx based upon existing manual test cases
  • Make suggestions for improvement after first seeking to understand processes and procedures
  • Be flexible and adaptable as we grow and develop as a software engineering organization
  • Understand the retail pharmacy domain and learn how customers use McKesson products to manage their business
