Job Details Job Location: Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage - Rancho Mirage, CA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Category: Food and Beverage - Culinary Description Job Description Summary Performs stewarding and/or culinary duties as assigned while assisting the other sours chefs in the overall production of food items in their assigned outlet. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) Follows recipe specifications and maintains high quality and consistency. Cooks in volume and high-quality environment. Assists all culinary Team Members in food preparation. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Assists the Sous Chefs and Chef de Cuisine to supervise food outlet operations. Maintains departmental standards of sanitation for the outlet. Assures F&B areas are maintained in accordance with company standards, as well as all applicable regulations such as fire marshal, OSHA and health department. Assists with month end inventories. Assists with supervision of all other kitchen outlets. Provide excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients. Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities None Access to Sensitive Areas and Information As per the ACGC Access Matrix Signatory Ability None Qualifications Required Education and/or Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in kitchen production. Supervisory experienced preferred Working Conditions/Physical Requirements To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/workstation for the duration of the shift. Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
Responsibilities
The Jr. Sous Chef assists in the overall production of food items and supervises food outlet operations. They ensure high quality and consistency in food preparation while maintaining sanitation standards.
