We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary Jr. Staff Accountant within our finance department! This position is a temporary assignment with a duration of 6 months or more This person will support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger Processing. Performs administrative and other duties as assigned. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Performs administrative functions (mail processing, file maintenance, etc..) as assigned. Supports accounts payable with vouchering vendor invoices, filing payment packages, and other duties. Supports accounts receivable with posting cash receipts, researching past-dues, and other duties. Performs tasks related to general ledger accounting (journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, analysis, support schedules, etc.) Aids in special projects as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge of accounting principles. Associates (or higher) degree in accounting a plus. Detail oriented , highly organized, & able to multi-task High-level verbal and written communication skills. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.) SAP experience a plus Status: Contract Type: Full-Time Duration: 6 months Kontron America is an ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) registered facility administered by the U.S. Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC).
