Jr. Tech. Consultant – IT and Educational Technologies (EDTECH) The Jr. Technical Consultant plays an important role in supporting the school’s technology systems and infrastructure. This entry-level position focuses on providing day-to-day technical assistance, troubleshooting school systems and networks, and helping to ensure a smooth and efficient technology experience for students, teachers, and staff.
Key responsibilities include responding to and resolving helpdesk tickets, assisting with the maintenance of Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), Device Management Systems, Security Systems, and school data networks. The Jr. Consultant will also support the implementation of new tools, including AI applications, under the guidance of senior team members.
Additionally, this role involves assisting in the account maintenance and user support of productivity and collaboration tools, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other cloud-based platforms. The Jr. Technical Consultant works closely with the IT team, gaining hands-on experience in various projects and contributing to the continuous improvement of the school’s technology services.
Reports to: IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration Manager Collaborates closely with: Tech Coordinator, Technical Consultant, Blended Learning Coordinator Responsibilities General tasks that including but are not limited to: Prepare and review software/updates for the school systems. .
Troubleshooting connectivity issues for peripherals.
Diagnosis of technical malfunctions for platforms and devices.
Assist in technology maintenance tasks and reports.
Assist in the deployment of seasonal technology projects.

Assist in projects aimed at improving user experience and enhancing the functionality of Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), Device Management Systems, Data Networks.
Assist in the configuration, and optimization of productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and related platforms to improve efficiency and communication Assist in the Implement AI-driven applications to optimize educational and operational processes.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure all Tech devices and systems remain functional and up to date.
Assist vendors and external partners for Technology related services, repairs, and procurement.
