The successful candidate will have basic mechanical knowledge including disassembly or assembly of equipment examples include, entry auto mechanics, farm experience, entered in mechanical courses at Red River, small engine repair, etc. This role will focus on mechanical ability and CTR will provide training and mentor ship on refrigeration components.
In the Jr. Mechanic role, your key responsibility will be to install and maintain refrigeration units (reefers), auxiliary power units (APUs), and air / coolant heaters to new and existing customers in a timely and attentive fashion.
Ideally the successful candidate will have some of their own tools, but we are willing to work with the right person and can provide tools until the successful candidate is able to provide their own.
Prior experience working in a mechanical trade is an asset, but not required. There is no trade certificate required for this role.
This role will include other duties as assigned. We need your support Mon - Thurs 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM (the four day / 10 hour shift).
