Sensitron has an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Test Engineer that will work in the product testing area and product development test area. Candidate will work with and report to production and engineering managers. He/she will be responsible for items such as building part test setups, qualification testing, making of production test jigs, developing test routines, test software and test automation, etc. as examples.

Product support:

  • Work with Design Engineers on issues with test equipment hardware, software, reliability, and qualification across multiple shifts and facilities.
  • Support maintenance and repair of test station hardware, software and interface test adaptors - both custom designed systems and COTS.
  • Work with factory production personnel to resolve test related issues.
  • Test PCB layouts.
  • PCB assembly & test traveler document preparation.
  • Test box development and initial production run support.
  • C# code experience for test development.
  • ATE test integration and development.
  • When required, support the Design Engineers in troubleshooting and repairing returned products from the customers.

    Requirements:

  • Must have BSEE, electrical engineering degree or relevant military training and experience.

  • Candidates should have power electronics background.
  • Basic understanding of analog circuit design, circuit analysis, digital circuit design and analog signal conditioning.
  • Some exposure to software such as C#, embedded code development, use of de-bugger etc., is desirable.
