Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our SSD Product Development Engineering team. As an intern, you will assist in the development, testing, and validation of next-generation Solid-State Drives (SSDs). You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Firmware, Hardware, Test, and Manufacturing to support new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvements of SSD products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in characterizing SSD performance, power, and reliability under various test conditions. Support data collection, analysis, and reporting of test results during validation and qualification phases. Work with engineering teams to debug and troubleshoot product issues. Develop scripts or tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or Excel VBA) for automating test and analysis tasks. Participate in root cause analysis of failures in both development and manufacturing environments. Help document technical reports, engineering procedures, and findings. Qualifications REQUIRED: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field. Familiarity with Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for automation and data analysis. Understanding of digital systems, storage interfaces (e.g., SATA, NVMe, PCIe), and embedded systems. Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or protocol analyzers. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced development environment. PREFERRED: Knowledge of NAND Flash memory and SSD architecture is a plus.
