Junior 3D / CGI Designer (all genders).

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

• Creation of high-quality photorealistic renderings, visualizations and animations of our figures and playsets for all brands in the Schleich portfolio.
• Collaboration along the entire 3D pipeline, including data preparation, modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting and rendering.
• Ensuring compliance with existing quality standards and guidelines for all created visualizations
• Creation of AI-generated assets in interaction with 3D data and renderings
• Support in the preparation, maintenance and organization of 3D data and asset libraries
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders from marketing, product development, packaging design and brand management
• Support in collaborating with external agencies, freelancers and production partners
• Observing current trends, technologies and tools in the field of CGI, rendering and animation, as well as introducing new ideas into the team.

The chapters of your story so far:

• Successfully completed studies or training in the field of 3D design, CGI, animation, media design or a comparable discipline
• Initial practical experience in the field of 3D visualization, CGI or animation, for example through internships, working student positions or own projects.
• Good knowledge of common 3D programs, preferably Cinema 4D in combination with Redshift and Substance 3D Painter; basic knowledge of ZBrush is also an advantage.
• Proficient use of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator; further knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of 3D production, especially modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering.
• Fundamental mastery of generative AI for image and video creation
• A solid understanding of graphic design and the desire to explore new creative territory.
• Structured, meticulous and independent work style
• Strong teamwork skills, a willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
