THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant experience of Chinese culture and knowledge of local Chinse insurance markets is essential
  • Commitment to complete studies and ACII qualification
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Good communication skills
  • Confident in engaging with colleagues and able to form strong relationships
  • Provide excellent client service, with the ability to adapt personal style to work effectively with a wide range of clients, colleagues and underwriters.
  • Be able to work in a deadline driven environment
  • Be confident user of MS Office
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Responsibilities
  • Attend client pre-renewal presentations to Insurers
  • Liaise with Account Executives and Account Managers to gather the required information for renewals to place Airline business with our panel of Insurers. This will involve daily calls and updates on multiple policies
  • Prepare renewal emails to be sent to all markets
  • Negotiate with Underwriters over terms, conditions and pricing of placements
  • Develop relationships with Insurers
  • Manage and distribute any endorsements which need to be agreed
  • Accurately confirm coverage bound on placements
  • Collate final paperwork for processing as soon as practicable after renewal
  • Supporting Account Managers in preparing a range of renewal documentation
  • Recording Insurer responses on the WTW marketing platform
  • Liaising with brokers and insurers to ensure timely receipt of slip documentation and insurer security
  • Collating slip documentation and insurer security and uploading to system
  • Promoting and applying a ‘best practice’ and consistency within Aerospace
  • Distribution of endorsements to Insurers
