JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

If you are looking for an opportunity to be part of a global organisation within the FMCG / Food industry and play a key role to support the key accounts within in the Quick Service Restaurants sector, this role will you allow you to be part of a collaborative team who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to both established and new clients.
Relationship and Account Management / Data Analysis and identifying trends will all be encompassed within the role.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • An analytical mindset - numerate with strong data analysis skills
  • Experience in FMCG or food sector would be highly beneficial
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised with excellent prioritising skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to use CRM systems
  • A degree (or equivalent) in Business or Food related field or Science or experience in similar role
    Based in Malvern, our client is offering a salary of c £28k plus excellent additional benefits.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, supporting the Account Manager
  • Manage daily customer communications, ensuring prompt responses and resolution of queries.
  • Assist with new contract costings, market analysis, and preparing sales briefs.
  • Monitor contract sales and run-out dates, ensuring a smooth supply chain process.
  • Conduct market research and store visits (when required), identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage critical paths for key events and new product launches.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, category performance data, and promotional analysis reports.
  • Attend meetings with buyers and internal teams to ensure seamless account management.
