SHAFER MECHANICAL, a leader in Commercial HVAC and Plumbing services in Central Texas is adding a full-time, Junior Account Manager to our growing team. We are seeking a positive, hardworking individual with prior experience in Commercial Sales and Customer Service.
Under the supervision of the VP of Shafer Mechanical, the Junior Account Manager will perform a variety of specialized duties in support of growing our commercial business. This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful customer relationships, provide industry leading mechanical service, maintenance, and retrofit solutions, and set and achieve sales goals. Job responsibilities include assisting Senior Account Manager to build and maintain customer relationships, assembling Commercial HVAC/Plumbing proposals, managing the sales pipeline, working with operations on project execution, and supporting the growth of Shafer Mechanical.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities – Including, but not limited to:

  • Support existing customers by acting as a point of contact for service and project requests.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction and promote long-term solutions
  • Maintain positive business relationships with Shafer Mechanical customers
  • Support Senior Account Managers by assembling projects and service agreement proposals
  • Plan and coordinate approved HVAC and Plumbing projects
  • Communicate service, maintenance, and projects needs to operational departments to ensure a great customer experience
  • Manage and maintain commercial sales pipeline
  • Stay current with industry best practices, local codes, and product developments
  • Continuously improve through feedback

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Service Experience
  • 3-5 years of HVAC or Plumbing Experience
  • 1+ year of Commercial Sales Experience
  • Experience with ServiceTitan and/or Hubspot highly preferred

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Strong typing and written/oral communication skills.
  • Comfortable taking command of situations professionally with respect to team and customers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Performance-motivated and goal oriented
  • High level of initiative and works well in a high-performance team environment
  • Handles stressful situations and deadlines well
