JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

UTS is a national provider of training and qualifications to the Health, Housing and Social Care Sector and with over 20 years of experience within the sector we have built an excellent reputation of delivering high quality, impactful programmes.
Our Senior Account Management team manage our clients training contracts in-house and build strong customer, working relationships to provide the highest level of customer service, ensuring repeat business and continued business growth.
Our Head Office in St Albans is now looking for an additional Junior Account Manager to support the team and work directly with our customer base.

THE PERSON

We are looking for applicants who are confident when dealing with customers on the phone and over email and can always deliver a high level of customer service.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in these areas, as well has hold the below skills and attributes.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our account management efforts, working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and fostering strong relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen analytical mindset, and a passion for sales. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within our organisation.
As Junior Account Manager, you will work with the Senior Account Managers to support the customer experience process. This will include following up on initial enquiries providing customer quotes and chasing enquiries through to customer conversions. All customer communications are recorded on our HubSpot CRM system. You will also liaise with trainers for availability and to co-ordinate their diaries and you will provide booking confirmation to our customers
You will have a customer base within which you will carry out calls to understand business requirements and identify and upselling/cross selling opportunities. This is to ensure we maximise on the business potential within each of our current customers and ensure timely growth as we on-board new customers to or client base.
As well as running in-house training programmes for large customers, we also run open course dates both virtually and in person to support spaces for smaller organisations. You will be generating interest in these courses alongside marketing activities, supporting to fill the dates and administering delegate joining instructions.
This is a role that requires someone with drive and determination, who enjoys speaking to customers, building relationships and developing business opportunities. You will need to be a team player who works together with colleagues to achieve the teams’ goals and targets.
There is opportunity for the right person to programme quickly into a more senior account management role.
