Your mission: In the area of AR: Issuing and posting invoices, clearing bank statements, taking care of customer settlements, clearing items on customer accounts Posting and reconciliation of sales taking place in Makro shops Clearing of sales-related accounts (means of payment such as cash, credit cards, vouchers, etc.) Preparing and confirming balances and reconciliations for general ledger accounts related to the accounts receivable and payable process Bank reconciliation Processing and responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner In the area of GA: Accounting for transactions relating to stocks, fixed assets, taxes Calculation and accounting of accrued income and expenses Calculation and accounting of cost provisions Calculation and accounting of write-downs Monitoring and analysis of general ledger accounts, including explanation of discrepancies/deviations Reporting of financial statements in Accordance with IFRS Forecast reporting Reconciliation of group settlements (Intercompany) Preparing reports for internal use and for external institutions (e.g. audit) Preparation of tax returns Analysis and implementation of changes to IFRS And also (GA and AR): Participation in projects related to the improvement of accounting processes Day-to-day work with clients in the provision of top-quality services (also in other languages, if you know them) Participation in month-end closing activities Working on a daily basis and improving your skills in SAP and Excel Qualifications Share your application with us, and we’ll match you with a role that aligns with your skills and career goals - because at METRO GSC PL, what you do truly counts.
