Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain accurate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist with VAT returns and statutory filings.
  • Manage petty cash and employee expense claims.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment-related queries.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
  • Provide administrative and accounting support to the Finance team as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • AAT qualification or currently pursuing ACCA/CIMA is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
  • Able to coordinate effectively with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders.
