Role Scope The Junior Accountant will support the Finance Department in managing day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on the Receivable Section. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing receipts, and ensuring timely reconciliation of customer payments. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain receipt vouchers accurately and in a timely manner. Receive, verify, and record customer payments. Handle cash and cheque receipts and hand them over as per company procedures. Maintain proper records and filing of all receivable transactions. Assist in accounts receivable reconciliation and follow up on outstanding payments. Support month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve payment-related issues. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Arabic and English (Speaking & Writing) is mandatory.
