Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the efficient functioning of our accounting department. You will work alongside a dynamic team and have the opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bilingual (French/English) - English is essential
  • Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of formal training and experience
  • Knowledge of financial and cost accounting
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software (Google Suite or Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff including management
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results
  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur

  • Bookkeeping
  • Prepare bank entries

  • Digital scanning and filing of documents
