Description
CermaTec NA is looking for a high-energy person to fill our Junior Accountant role. This is a high-volume position with the opportunity to grow.    A Junior Accountant manages daily financial transactions, including data entry, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and expense processing. They assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and financial report preparation, requiring proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.    Key Responsibilities & Duties * Verify and voucher PO invoices via 3-way match. * Obtain approvals for non-PO invoices and properly code to GL accounts. * Review and process employee travel and expense reports. * Process payment transactions via check, ACH, and wire. * Asses purchases for sales/use tax and accrue when applicable. * Assist with month end closing procedures. * Prepare and enter journal entries. * Reconcile accounts in accordance with SOX compliance. * Maintain orderly filing system and audit-ready documentation. * Maintain Accounts Payable email accounts. * Communicate with vendors/suppliers and internal departments on a regular basis.   Qualifications & Skills   * 2-4 years accounting experience – manufacturing experience preferred. * Computer-based ERP software systems – SAP preferred. * Proficient in Microsoft software – Excel - intermediate * Associate’s degree in business, finance, or accounting required. * Handle confidential information/material.   Additional Information   CeramTec N.A. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
