Ethos CPA LLP is a full-service CPA firm offering comprehensive accounting, assurance, taxation, and consulting services to small- to medium-sized businesses and individuals. We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Accountant to join our growing team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A diploma or university degree in Accounting.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Simply Accounting (Sage 50) and/or QuickBooks (an asset but not required).
- Excellent multitasking and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (required), Cantonese (an asset but not required).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in public practice accounting (an asset, but not mandatory).

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Junior Accountant, you will play an integral role in our operations by managing full-cycle bookkeeping and supporting clients with various financial and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping: Handling PST, GST, Payroll, WCB, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Year-End Support: Assisting with corporate year-end, review, and audit engagements.
- Taxation: Preparing corporate and personal tax returns.
- Client Engagement: Interacting with clients regularly to provide exceptional service.
- Administrative Duties: Sharing office administrative responsibilities to support team operations.
To excel in this role, you will need:
