The Position If you’re excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and passionate about Finance, this opportunity is for you! You take ownership of key accounting processes including Accounts Payable (in DATEV), monthly accruals, and payment runs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at scale. Handle intercompany transactions and billing across our European entities (DE, FR, IT, ES, UK, NL) You support and coordinate month - and year - end closings, ensuring HGB-compliant reporting and liaising with international tax advisors to prepare data, reconcile figures, and resolve open items. You contribute to annual financial statement preparation and act as a key contact during internal and external audits. Work in LucaNet: data entry, intercompany reconciliation and quality checks to support the group consolidation process. Assist with VAT reconciliations and compliance processes, including support for MOSS reporting across multiple EU entities. You critically assess existing workflows and proactively drive process improvements and automation initiatives. Your Profile We know - sometimes, you can’t tick every box. Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or vocational training in economics/accounting/finance or comparable degree. 1–3 years of practical accounting experience, either in industry or within audit/tax. Solid understanding of HGB fundamentals and their practical application. Experience with DATEV is a strong plus; exposure to LucaNet or other consolidation tools is beneficial. Basic knowledge of intercompany or multi-entity structures is an advantage. Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable handling high-volume transactions. Confident communicator in English; German is helpful for local accounting matters. Interested in process improvements and automation within finance.
