JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, as well as proficiency in various accounting software. The Accounting Clerk will assist in managing accounts payable, regulatory reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial concepts and SOX compliance.
  • Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping and experience with accounts payable functions.
  • Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate record maintenance.
  • Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation effectively.
  • Experience using accounting software, particularly Quickbooks Online, is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with Food & Beverage Operation
  • Experience with private club accounting
