OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, or Sage is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with corporate finance concepts, including budgeting and account analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for effective account reconciliation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with corporate finance standards.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other tools for efficient bookkeeping and data management.
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and assist in auditing processes as needed.
  • Participate in budgeting activities by providing necessary financial data and insights.
  • Collaborate with team members on payroll processing and ensure accurate reporting of employee hours and deductions.
  • Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation for easy retrieval.
