OBGYN Specialists of The Palm Beaches is looking to add a Junior Accountant to their team!

The junior accountant provides financial and administrative support by maintaining records and reports, performing accounting entries and reconciliations, and assisting the Director of Finance in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in accounting or finance, 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Experience with bill.com and QuickBooks preferred
  • Experience with Modified Cash accounting is a bonus
    Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
  • Ability to commute to office in West Palm Beach, FL twice a week

Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Processing and creating invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining contract list.
  • Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Recording transactions, posting journal entries, and maintaining accurate general ledgers.
  • Reconciliation: Balancing ledgers and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the creation and maintenance of budgets. Work with other departments to help guide them to achieve company goals.
  • Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits by gathering documentation and information.
  • Payroll: Assisting in payroll processing as necessary as a backup.
