Capital Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. In this entry-level position, you will assist in various accounting functions, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting senior accountants with their day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and have a foundational understanding of accounting principles. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the accounting field while contributing to the financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including entries in the general ledger. Support accounts payable and receivable processes by entering invoices and processing payments. Reconcile bank statements and assist in monthly financial closings. Prepare and post journal entries under the guidance of senior accountants. Help with the preparation of financial statements and reports. Assist in tax preparation and compliance tasks. Maintain organization and accuracy of financial documentation. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as needed. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Experience with accounting software and MS Excel is desirable. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills and willingness to learn. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
